The closest to the beach is Hale Huakai, where you can rent snorkel gear plus everything you need for a fun beach day, including cabanas, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and standup paddleboards. If you prefer to grab your gear before you leave Lahaina, visit The Snorkel Store close to Black Rock Beach where you'll find everything you need to enjoy a fun day on the water.
  • A: While parking can feel like a challenge when visiting Ka'anapali Beach, Maui County has taken steps to ensure public access to this popular stretch of sand. Free parking is available in several designated parking lots close to the beach. If those are full, drivers can also find designated beach parking at the various resorts along the beach. The Marriott and Westin each offer 30 public spaces, The Sheraton & Whaler's Village offer 20 each, the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel & Ali'i resorts each have 10 and the Hyatt Regency offers 74 public parking spaces for beach goers.
